How Are Your Providers Approved?

Providers must all have 2+ years of residential cleaning experience and must legally be able to work in the United States. We also fully background check all potential applicants.

Hours Of Operations Vs Office Hours

Our arrival times vary per city:

M-Sun: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

You can select the time that suits you best during our booking process. Keep in mind that early morning appointments do not have a range while all other appointments have a 2-hour range.

Custom Cleanings

Custom cleanings are for homes that are larger than 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms or if a portion of the home is to be cleaned instead of the entire home. Our standard flat rate prices do not apply for custom cleanings.

The rate for custom cleanings is $50 per hour with a two-hour minimum for one-time appointments. For recurring custom cleanings, the rate is $40 per hour with a three-hour minimum. If you are interested in scheduling a custom cleaning please reach us by:

Office Cleanings

For office cleanings, the rate is $40 per hour with a three-hour minimum. Keep in mind King of Maids sends 1 cleaner per job and we might not be suitable for all types of office cleanings. Post Construction & Heavy Duty Cleanings

We do offer post construction and heavy duty cleanings. The rate is $60 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Please keep in mind that King of Maids sends 1 cleaner per job and we might not be suitable for all types of post-construction jobs. Move In/Out Cleanings

We do offer move/in move out cleanings. These cleanings come at an additional cost due to them being a heavier cleaning and requiring more attention/time. For a full list of the services covered in our move in/move out cleanings, please Click Here.

Please keep in mind that services such as inside fridge, inside oven, inside cabinets, interior window cleaning, wet wipe window blinds and other additional services are an extra charge. Regular Vs Deep Cleanings

Regular and deep cleanings follow the same comprehensive checklist. We require you to select the "Deep Cleaning" option if your home has NOT been maintained/cleaned by you or a professional in the last 30 days. These cleanings come at an additional cost due to them being a heavier cleaning and requiring more attention/time. If not selected, the deep cleaning may be added upon the maid's arrival. For post renovation and heavy duty cleanings, the hourly rate applies instead.

You will get instant pricing determined by the number of bedrooms and bathroom in your home as well as the condition and extras that you might need help with. You will then select the date/time you'd like the cleaner to arrive along with some additional information such as the location, billing method and any specific notes you might have for the maid. Once submitted you will get a receipt along with a confirmation email stating that you are all set for your appointment.

How Do I Tip For My Cleaning?

You may add a tip for your maid by cash or check during the cleaning. You may also add the tip to your bill for the cleaning via credit/debit card any time before, during or after your appointment via live chat, email or phone. If you wish to add a tip online please Click Here.

Are There Any Discounts Offered Currently

We offer discounted rates for weekly, every other week, and monthly service. The recurring cleanings are discounted 20% for weekly, 15% for every other week, and 10% for monthly from our one-time prices. Cleaning Supplies

Providers are prepared with their own cleaning supplies and equipment for each appointment. If there is a specific brand or type of cleaning supply you would like for him/her to use, you are welcome to provide it for him/her during the cleaning. If you would like the cleaner to use green cleaning products, please let us know and the maid will provide green cleaning (natural) products instead or simply add green cleaning in your dashboard.

Do I Have To Be Home For The Cleaning?

Your presence is not required for the cleaning.

If you would like to leave during the appointment, we would only need instructions for the provider to finish up, such as locking the door.

If you are not present during the beginning, we would only need instructions for the provider to gain entry, such as leaving a key underneath a doormat or with the front office.

How Many Cleaners Are Sent To My Home?

There will usually be one cleaner sent to your home. If you do get a team of two cleaners during your appointment that is because at times cleaners bring others to help them. Do not worry, everyone is background checked before they enter your home!

How Long Will My Cleaning Take?

For Flat Rate cleanings, we do not have set time requirements for the providers. Instead the provider(s) stay as long as necessary to complete the service. Cleanings may vary based on the condition of the home as well as the size and extras selected.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

We only ask you to notify us by 12:00 PM the day before your appointment if you wish to cancel or reschedule to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment online after 12:00PM for a next day cleaning you will also get charged a $50 fee automatically.

How Do I Apply My Coupon To My Cleaning?

For online bookings, please enter your coupon code during the check-out page.
 The field for coupons is labeled “Have a Coupon Code?’ and can be found right where
'Enter Payment Details' is located.
 
For scheduling an appointment over the
phone, through live chat, or by email, just provide the code to your
representative and he/she will apply the discount to your appointment.
 

I Want To Book With My Referral Credits or Gift Card Credit

When you receive a gift card via email, there will be a code that you can apply
towards any cleaning online. Use that code during the 'checkout' page. Any
remaining credits will be available in your dashboard for future bookings.
 
 
Once your friend/family memeber completes a booking with King of Maids
you will receive $50 credit that you will be able to use towards any future

When Do I Get Charged For My Cleaning?
